Each custom-made piece is unique – no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. We select each log by hand and each must have seasoned in the bark for at least one year. This ensures that your furniture will not come apart due to shrinkage as the wood dries, as is a problem with much of the “rustic furniture” on the market today.

QUALITY WORKMANSHIP

Each log is then carefully and meticulously peeled by hand so that we may examine every grain pattern, every knot, and every worm hole. After the logs are sawed to length, ripped to width, and the holes drilled, we put away the power tools and everything from there to completion is done by hand using traditional rustic joinery, plus a few innovations of our own. The end result is a sturdy piece that will last a lifetime and more.
